Arteriosclerosis
Atherosclerosis is
a chronic inflammatory desease of the kidney, spleen, liver and
pancreas arteries, which predominantly affects men. Specific causes
of atherosclerosis have not been identified yet. It is believed,
however, that the risk of contracting the desease is due to
different factors such as age, family history (or the presence of
close relatives who have contracted the disease ), too many fatty
in diet, tobacco smoke, high cholesterol levels, alcohol, obesity,
diabetes, high blood pressure. Atherosclerosis generally doesn’t
have any symptoms until complications occur when the plate comes to
occupy the whole of the face and reduces the flow of blood, or when
there is a thrombosis, a sudden clotting of blood at the plate
itself, which causes the sudden occlusion of the artery.Cerebral sclerosis or Schilder's disease is a chronic disease that affects during adolescence and provides for a progressive demyelination of large areas of the cerebral white matter. The most common symptoms are disorders of consciousness and mental deterioration with seizures.
