Herniated disc
Herniated
disc, or slipped disc, is a disease of the intervertebral disc that
occurs when there is a leakage of nucleus pulposus, which is a
central part of the intervertebral disc. The disc loses its
consistency and it is no longer able to absorb the loads of the
vertebrae and escapes from his space going to touch, for example,
the nerve roots. The disc can even compresses nerve roots and the
sheath that covers the spinal cord causing intense pain.The subject feels also a numbness of the limbs, often with muscle spasms in the lumbar spine or pelvic asymmetry. Among the causes of the disease, especially for young people, there may be excessive efforts, improper movements. In old age, however, can also contribute to the development genetic predisposition and sedentary work activities.
Oxygen-Ozone Therapy:
The treatment consists of 2 weekly sessions of injections for 12 total sessions (at least) followed by 1 to 3 sessions after 15 days.
