Carpal tunnel
syndrome (CTS) is a neuropathy caused by compression of the median
nerve at the wrist, in its passage through the carpal tunnel. This
is a cavity located in the wrist through which pass the veins and
tendons that operate the bending of the fingers.It predominantly affects women and varies according to place of work, which can help to increase or decrease the incidence of the disease. Initially, the carpal tunnel syndrome is manifested by tingling, numbness or swelling of the hand, and in particular of the median nerve, especially in the morning or at night. The pain may also extend to the forearm. As a result, the individual may lose sensitivity in the fingers and strength throughout the hand.
Oxygen-Ozone Therapy:
The treatment consists of 1 or 2 weekly sessions of Infiltration for 4-6 total session.
