Allergy

Allergy, or allergic syndrome, is a disorder of the immune system characterized by immunological reactivity, which causes abnormal reaction to who comes in contact with substances such as pollen, dust mites, certain foods, drugs, etc.. The factors that could cause allergies are both hereditary and environmental. The allergic reaction affects localized areas like the nose (this is allergic rhinitis), causing swelling of the nasal mucosa, continuous sneezing and colds; it affects the airways, resulting in difficulty in breathing, is associated with bronchial spasm; it also affects the eyes (allergic conjunctivitis) and skin, with a strong flushing accompanied by itching. The symptoms are usually localized in a specific area, but sometimes may occur in a systemic manner and provide an anaphylactic shock, because of agitation, rash, palpitations, difficulty breathing, hypotension and brancospasmo.
