mainly affects the scalp, so widespread or patchy. Alopecia may be congenital, although it is more  common the acquired alopecia, which manifests itself in a transient and reversible way, and it appears when there are body diseases. It generally affects the central part of the scalp as early as the onset of puberty, and it deteriorates over the years. Women are less predisposed to alopecia even if they are affected particularly during adolescence, or during menopause. Among the most common forms of acquired alopecia, there are the androgenetic one, that affects the hair of the head and superior frontal areas and it is often characterized by a sebaceous secretion. Alopecia is called "telogen effluvium", when the hair falls out without forming any spill. Other forms are alopecia areata, which is characterized by a limited area of hair loss but can also affect beard, eyelashes and eyebrows; total alopecia, in which all the hair of his head disappear and finally universal alopecia, which covers all the hair of the body.
